Colour Bonding (Bespoke composite door finishes)

Doors now available in your favourite colour...whatever it is!

As if our new product range and record sales figures were not enough to shout about, this May saw Global Door take customer satisfaction to the next level when we heard the unusual request:

"Can I have the door in bright yellow, it's my favourite colour?"

Although we had never heard this before, that didn't mean we were about to let our customer down. Although unknown to some, Global Door now work alongside a specialist colour-bonding company, which means that we can produce a door and have them colour-bond it to literally any RAL colour. We have done this many times before for customers who want a matching colour on the inside of the door, and although there is an extra cost, the results are always stunning.

Colour-bonding is a grey area in the Composite market, as some companies claim to be able to produce any RAL colour. In reality they are simply spraying on the colour themselves. This is neither a professional solution nor an acceptable one, and this method almost always results in the paint cracking and splitting off within five years.

At Global Door we concentrate on the manufacture of Composite Doors, and leave the colour bonding to the experts. The customer in question had her door manufactured within four working days, it was then sent to our colour bonding company where they applied a specialist coating over a couple of days. Because we use a dedicated company, there is a ten-year guarantee on their colour bonding work, a luxury and safeguard that you will not get with other companies.

The customer in question received her door ten working days from order date, and was understandable ecstatic with the results. So much so she sent us in a picture and a letter of thanks. Remember that although there is an extra cost, there are around 1500 colour options to choose from. Some customers also request we match up the colour of garage doors, which is no problem provided we have the RAL number.
