Along with the 44mm thick door leaf and rebated outer frames, we now offer a thermal glass upgrade. We also take steps to reduce our carbon footprint, which is why we manufacture right here in the UK and have our own transport service.

Eco friendly Global Composite Doors

Our green credentials mean that you receive the most eco-friendly door on the market.

To help preserve the environment we use a lead free outer frame, and the foam core used to construct the door is 100% CFC free. All of our doors are manufactured at one site in the UK to help reduce our carbon footprint.

Thermal Upgrades from Global Door

Our Doors can now be upgraded to have thermal glass, which improves the U value even further.

These upgraded glass units are filled with argon gas to improve insulation, and also have a warm edge spacer bar which deflects cold better than the standard. This image shows which areas are causing the main amount of heat loss (in red).
