At Global Door we ensure that our doors have passed the strictest security tests. As such our doors have been awarded all leading security accreditations.

It is a sad statistic that burglaries are on the rise throughout the UK, and 67% of attacks are targeted at the front door. How can you be sure that your new door is going to protect you and your family?

In addition to this, we use high security cylinders that are resistant to 'lock bumping' and 'lock snapping'. These techniques are now widely recognized and have resulted in thousands of break ins across the UK. Having a new front door is useless if the cylinder is weak – thankfully this is not a concern with a Global Door.

Secured by design doors

Secured by Design is the UK’s most notable security accreditation. You can now upgrade your door to Secured by Design standard for complete peace of mind.

We also supply Secured by Design locking systems as standard. Secured by Design is an initiative set up by the Police force, and sets the standard for high security residential doors. Our locking systems are also approved by all leading insurance companies.

Pas24 Protected

Pas24 is a leading accreditation that tests the strength and security of a door-set.

To achieve pas24, our composite doors undergo severe brute force attacks where over 35KG of force is applied to the door. The doors have to withstand 30 minutes of severe attack, and the cylinders are also targeted.

Weather tested

Its not just rogue attacks that we test for either. We have also taken into account that other major force that is Mother Nature. Our doors are all PAS23 accredited as standard, which means they have gone through extreme weather simulations. This means that no matter how much wind or rain is thrown at your door, the elements will remain outside where they belong.
