Global Install in the Outer Hebrides!

April was a milestone month for Global Door. Not only did our sales figures reach an all time high, but we also became the first composite door manufacturer to have a door installed in the Outer Hebrides!

Following a request to have a door supplied to the picturesque Isle of Harris, which is situated to the West of the Scottish highlands, we once again continued our trend of exceeding customer expectations.

After a conversation with our customer it became apparent that the door in question would really be exposed to the elements, and would have to take all the wind and rain the Atlantic could throw at it. The customer in question recognized that a composite door was the only option for such extreme weather conditions, and we knew our strict weather testing accreditations would be tested on this one!

Little over a week later the door was shipped by courier to the Isle of Harris. Our customer arranged his own installation, and was thrilled with the quick service and most importantly superior quality of the door. He was so impressed we received a letter of thanks and some pictures, and we are assured the door is successfully contending with the unpredictable North Atlantic weather.
