Grey Composite Doors are exciting?<\/p>\n

Back in the late 80\u2019s early 90\u2019s a television programme called \u201cSpitting Image\u201d created a caricature of the then prime Minister \u2013 Mr John Major – based upon their assessment of his character and his demeanour they turned the very healthy looking individual on the left into the \u201cgrey\u201d and \u201cboring\u201d character on the left.<\/p>\n

Although \u201cgrey\u201d was regarded as aboring colour long before this\u201dSpitting Image\u201d, the image of a grey John Major was one that was to live on long after the end of the programme.<\/p>\n

To steal a phrase from the \u201cEmpowered by colour\u201d <\/a> web site \u2013 \u201cThe colour grey is an unemotional colour. It is detached, neutral, impartial and indecisive – the fence-sitter.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIn the meaning of colours, grey is conservative, boring, drab and depressing on the one hand and elegant and formal on the other, yet never glamorous\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

-all of which may explain the unfortunate \u201ctag\u201d that has dogged Mr Major for years.<\/p>\n

At Global Door<\/a>, we cannot support this view that \u201cGrey is boring\u201d far from it we think that our grey doors are exciting, bold and very glamourous indeed<\/p>\n

Whether it be a traditional door or a contemporary door every one of our twenty one styles is available with a grey exterior and when the styles are matched with compatible hardware and glazing they can look stunning the term \u201cdrab and depressing\u201d simply does not apply to any of our doors take the two examples below \u2013<\/p>\n

one contemporary with diamond pattern glazing and matching glass and stunning bow handle\u201delegant (most certainly) and formal (never)\u201d<\/p>\n

one traditional with classic patterned glazing and gold hardware \u201celegant (definitely) and formal (possibly) \u201c<\/p>\n

and in our opinion they are both most certainly glamourous,<\/p>\n

as are all of our range of doors when selected in grey.<\/p>\n

We chose this image deliberately because it is not<\/u> a simple door and frame but a complex mix of door, frame side panel and glazing and it is grey and it could never be described as boring plus it showcases that we at Global Door<\/a>, do not do just the simple stuff we have doors and frames to match any location.<\/p>\n
