Way back in September 2018 we performed our annual ritual of\nreviewing the Met Office storm names for the coming year \u2013 \u201cStorm Ali \u2013 it\u2019s\nthat time of year again\u201d<\/a> this time giving emphasis to the heavy use of\nIrish based names. In previous years we have \u201cran a book\u201d and quoted the office\nodds for both the severest of storms and how many names we would actually use \u2013\nprobably as well we concentrated on the \u201cIrish connection\u201d because for the\nmajority of us storms have been a very low-key event this year. The weather was\nset fair through March  and as we sailed  past the Spring Equinox, we had only just\nscraped storm \u201cF\u201d for Freya the chances of making it to Wyn looking  very unlikely indeed. We can now close the\nbook with the revelation that we made it to \u201cHannah\u201d  and no further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
